Fragile items fail when boxes have empty space. Wrap each piece in bubble wrap or packing paper. Stand plates vertically like records.

Use dish packs with cellular dividers. Fill gaps with crumpled paper until nothing shifts when you shake the box gently.

Remove shades and pack bases separately. Mark every box FRAGILE on all sides.
